Last co-founded Ansa, the Series A wallet-as-a-service backed by Bain and BoxGroup. As CTO, Cho built the platform for closed-loop branded wallets that launch in weeks - driving major lifts in customer retention, revenue, and engagement while cutting payment processing fees.
Before that, Cho was on the founding ML team at Affirm and held engineering roles at Google and Impira (acq. by Figma). He’s active across open communities, although his recent GitHub activity points to private repos, suggesting he’s heads-down building.
A UPenn CS alum (’17), Cho grew up in the Bay Area where he now lives with his wife. As a kid, he used to volunteer at the local hospital and once developed an Ant Blob Tracker. Outside of his fintech career, he produces his own music and pursues photography.
Cho just entered stealth this month, so his next project is still under wraps. Given his track record at the intersection of payments, infra, and ML, it’s likely to matter for the future of fintech.
